Heading south into Shetou Township, 80% of the country's socks are made here, making it the "Hometown of Socks". The neighboring Tianwei Township and Yongjing Township dominate Taiwan with their flowers and seedlings respectively. Dachun Township in the north of Yuanlin not only ranks first in grape production, it is also the "Queen of Bicycles". The bicycle industry radiated from Merida ranks second in Taiwan.
